IOWA SHRM

I put together two power point presentations to serve as resources for Iowa SHRM Chapter members. If you are a member of an Iowa SHRM chapter please feel free to download either presentation as a resource. Both presentations include:

- Testimonials from Iowa senior HR professionals on the value of the certification, 

- Links to appropriate locations at the HRCI website,

- Other tips (including recommendations and resources) to help you in your certification journey.

If you manage the webpage of an Iowa SHRM Chapter, you may, if you so choose, upload either presentation to your own website. 

The presentation entitled "Why/How/Tips" is more appropriate as a "stand alone" resource (i.e., for people who did not participate in a webinar or attend a chapter meeting on certification).

The presentation entitled "Open the Doors for Certification" was created to support a webinar I ran for the SHRM Iowa State Council. It works best as a support to a live presenter. It does include my own pictures, "avatars" and contact information.  If you are a SHRM Certification Director in the State of Iowa feel free to use it - but you'll need to make appropriate adaptations/customizations of the slides.
